Busy Baskets

There seems to be an internal alarm in toddlers that go off when its feeding time for the new baby. Busy baskets can serve as an entertainment staple as your family settles into your new normal. The idea is to only allow access to this basket when you are busy and you need your toddler to stay busy as well. Fill it with toys and activities that allow minimal adult supervision or coaching, when feeding time for the new baby is over, have your toddler put everything away until the next feeding. Here are a few ideas to get started, but the dollar section at Target can never steer you wrong:
